Technique: Mixed, Cut-out animation, some scenes with noir was made as rotoscope + cut-out from torn paper also some scenes - mix: cut-out + video I shot

Natalia Ryss

Was born in Rostov-on-Don. Graduated from Art College in Rostov-on-Don (designer) in 1988 and art-graphic faculty of the Russian State University of Cinematography in 1995. Creates animated shorts as an independent filmmaker and in collaboration with different production companies. Preferably works with non-conventional structure of narration, uses expressive editing and a mix of different art techniques (torn paper, drawing on glass and wet paper, photo- and video-filters...).
